The tour starts at the Enniskillen Castle where guests are gently guided around the Island town meeting local producers and suppliers and learning a few foodie facts along the way.
There is no better way to start your Saturday off than getting the chance to sample Joe ‘the Baker’s’ Artisan sour dough and Pat Doherty’s famous black bacon in the ultimate breakfast bacon butty. To follow, Alan and his ‘Happiness Trap’ team indulge guests in a vegetarian banquet that has a mix of both mouth-watering savoury and sweet delights.
Then It’s ‘Gin O Clock’
The ‘Firehouse’ provides the setting for a taste of the award winning local Boatyard gin, and Gavin and his staff pair the Juniper led gin beautifully with some pork belly and garlic flat breads.

‘Tickety Moo’ Ice cream rich with milk from Jersey cows is the perfect sorbet before guests stroll through the streets of Enniskillen towards the Buttermarket. An epicentre for local art, craft and design, it’s the perfect area to sample Sharon’s mouth-watering scones.
A visit to Enniskillen wouldn’t be complete without entering the Victorian world of Blake’s of the Hollow. A listed pub dating back to 1887 worthy of its international status, steeped in history and the perfect venue to taste the local Innishmacsaint craft beer, along with some of Shane Stewart’s award winning sausages. With a quick stop at the Jolly Sandwich, Hazel has time to hand out a little treat to take home, and guests have a minute to ponder the sumptuous foods they have already been offered.
The tour finishes on a high with some bubbles at the fantastic 28 Darling Street where head chef and owner Glen along with his wife Zara produce beautiful food. Glen has worked in several top Michelin starred restaurants including Gordon Ramsey’s Royal Hospital Road in London, ‘The Vineyard’ in Berkshire and once voted the best restaurant in the world NOMA in Copenhagen. He has recently been selected to appear on the hit TV show ‘The Great British Menu’. Guests get a chance to sample gourmet cuisine rarely found on a food tours, but this tour does!
