Do I need to book in advance?
Yes — all tours must be booked in advance so we can confirm numbers with our partners and ensure food and drink is prepared for you. Tours often sell out, so we recommend booking early.
What is the Enniskillen Taste Experience?
They are guided walking food and drink tours around Enniskillen’s island town, showcasing a variety of local flavours and businesses with multiple food and drink tastings along the way. We currently have two different tours available to book the Taste Experience Tour and the Gin Island Experience.
How long does the tour last?
Tours typically run for around 4 hours, with a relaxed pace and plenty of time for sampling and conversation.
How much walking is involved?
The tour covers around 1 mile of gentle walking between stops, with plenty of breaks to sit and enjoy tastings.
How much food and drink is included?
Each tour includes multiple stops with a substantial mix of food tastings and local drinks, designed to offer a memorable and fulfilling experience.
Does the tour include alcoholic drinks?
Yes — parts of the tour include tastings of local drinks. Guests should be aware that alcoholic beverages are part of the experience, so it’s best to leave the car keys behind.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
You’ll be asked to share any food allergies or dietary requirements when you register. We work with our venue partners to accommodate these needs wherever possible.
Are there age restrictions?
While food tastings are suitable for most ages, alcoholic drinks are served only to those 18 and over. Children may attend the tour at the discretion of the organisers.
Can I bring my dog?
Due to health and safety regulations, dogs are not permitted on the tour.
What happens if it rains?
Tours usually run rain or shine. In severe weather, we may cancel the tour and offer you the choice of a refund or rescheduled date.
Are there bathroom stops?
Yes — most food and drink venues on the route have facilities available.
What should I wear or bring?
Wear comfortable shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather, especially as part of the tour involves walking between locations.
Can I purchase this as a gift?
Yes — gift vouchers are available and make a great present for food and drink lovers.
Can I cancel my booking?
Cancellations or date changes must be made at least 72 hours before the tour start date and time. Unfortunately, cancellations within 72 hours of the tour will not be eligible for a refund or date change. Please note that our venues are pre-booked to accommodate the number of attendees. If you are unable to attend and have missed the cancellation window, we kindly ask that you consider selling or gifting your ticket to someone else.
